• Running in Windows
  This used to be a program written in Fortran 77. Starting with version 3.5 it was rewritten in Fortran 2008. So you need a Fortran compiler to be able to use it in Windows. There is one free for personal use, the FTN95 compiler.

• Running in a Virtual Machine (VM)
  Another option is to install a VM in Windows running Linux. Then you use the standard gfortran compiler. See the next section on how to install a VM in Windows.
